We welcome submissions from anyone on any topic relating to Environmental Health.
Authors that are Certified Environmental Health Professionals (C.E.H.P.'s) with the Florida Department of Health are awarded 2.0 contact hours for every 0.5 contact hour approved for the article. This is decided when we submit articles with quizzes for review to DOH. If you are interested in receiving credit hours for your article, please make sure to indicate that when you submit your article for review.
Microsoft Word is the preferred choice of software for submissions of letters or manuscripts for use in the Florida Journal of Environmental Health (FJEH).
There is no specific length requirement, but appreciate when articles do not exceed 10 pages.
All manuscripts of a technical nature submitted for publication are peer-reviewed by the FJEH Journal Committee.
Please submit diagrams and charts as separate .jpg or Excel files. This helps to make sure the resolution is crisp.
Since the journal is electronic and articles are published as they are approved, there are no deadlines for submissions.
We like to know our authors, so request that all submissions be accompanied by a brief biographical sketch and digital photograph of the authors. Generally, this would be a quick overview of your education, experience in environmental health, current and past positions, and other pertinent information. These sketches provide journal readers with background about the people who write the articles that appear within our pages.
Please e-mail all articles, abstracts, letters, and biographical sketches directly to the Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Journal of Environmental Health: FEHAjournal@feha.org.
Thank you for your interest in submitting to the Florida Journal of Environmental Health!
