FEHA AEM Training May 6th-11th

Plantation Inn at Crystal River, Fl

IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT THE 75th Annual AEM

Due to the damage caused to Plantation Resort by the recent hurricane, I regret to inform you that the 75th Annual AEM that was scheduled for October has been postponed until May of 2024. The hotel sustained a large amount of damage including flooding of the entire first floor guest rooms, meeting rooms and restaurants. The Tiki Bar and Pool also sustained a large amount of damage. All of this will takes weeks to repair to a state where it will be safe us to hold our conference.

This is not a decision that we took lightly but we have no other option at this time.

However, we have booked new dates for the 75th AEM. We will now be hosting the AEM on May 6th-11th, 2024.

Some of you may have questions, so please read over the items below before you email or call FEHA about your concerns.

1) Will my event registration be carried over from the October Conference to the May Conference? Yes! If you have already registered, you do not need to register again. All of your info, including your payment has been transferred to the May event.

2) What happened to my hotel room reservation? All hotel rooms for October have been canceled, You need to rebook your hotel room using THIS LINK or you can call the hotel directly.

3) Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend the conference in May? YES! You just need to email Info@FEHA.org and request for your registration to be canceled  & a refund to be issued.

4) Has the agenda for the AEM changed? As of this time, everything scheduled for the October Conference is set for the May Conference. This includes the Directors Meeting, Waterborne Disease Workshop, OSTDS, CPO, Body Art, Etc. We might even add in a couple more sessions between now and then.

5) Can I adjust my registration if I want to add or subtract sessions? YES! Not a problem, just email info@FEHA.org and we will take care of that for you.

6) Is the deadline for submitting Award Nominations, Scholarships & T-Shirt Contest Entries extended? YES! We have extended all of these and you have until April 2nd 2024 to submit everything to us.

7) Will FEHA be doing anything in between now and the AEM in May? YES! We are planning some exciting activities around the state to increase our activity within the individual districts. If you have an idea for a fun and exciting district meeting please email info@FEHA.org and we can plan something in your district.

8) Will FEHA be hosting online meetings before the 2024 AEM? YES! We have some great ideas in the works, Keep an eye out for additional emails from FEHA.

I hope that I have answered most of your questions about this unfortunate event. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me.
